Alumnus Jennifer Raynor, PhD ’17, joins UW faculty
Raynor holds two degrees from UW-Madison, an M.S. in environmental resources and a PhD in agricultural and applied economics. In August 2022, Jennifer Raynor, PhD ’17, returned to UW-Madison, to become an assistant professor in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology.
Catching up with Muneera Khambaty
Muneera Khambaty (ABM B.S. '18) took advantage of AAE classes and internship support to help her land a job as a Biodiesel Trader with Cargill. A Renk Scholar during her tenure, she says AAE gave her a strong business background, and provided her with a friendly, welcoming environment for her undergraduate career.
Greetings from Guanming Shi, Chair and Professor, Renk Agribusiness Institute
In July 2022, Guanming Shi became the first woman chair of AAE. Shi joined the department in 2005. Her primary research focuses on the economics of industrial organization in the U.S and China.
