New AAE Courses
New AAE classes in Fall 2024:
AAE 375-001: Wisconsin Food Project
Description: An initiative focused on developing an alternative supply chain model that makes nutritious food more accessible and affordable. Students will contribute to the pilot program at UW-Madison through procurement, logistics, operations, retailing, and marketing efforts.
AAE 375-002: Leaders in Agribusiness Program
Limited enrollment cap. Instructor consent required.
Description: Professional development training program for students to enhance their interpersonal skills and develop leadership potential through experiences and activities including guest speaker presentations, field trips and tours, professional networking at conferences, verbal presentations, and participating in agribusiness management competitions.
Both will be taught by Jeremy Beach!

Coming soon in Spring 2025 – AAE 375: Trading in Futures Market!
Develop a practical understanding of futures market operation, price determination, and risk management. Topics include futures contracts and market operation, fundamental and technical analysis, futures trading techniques, and hedging strategies.

Scholarships
Each year students must complete the General Application in WiSH in order to be matched to any open Departmental, School/College, and University scholarship applications. The application window is usually Nov. to Feb. 1 for the scholarship to be awarded for the upcoming academic year.
