Bio Sketch
Cheng earned a B. Law in Political Science from Beijing Foreign Studies University (China) in 2019. Before enrolling in MS AAE, Cheng had been learning economics as a double major at Peking University (China). The MS AAE program has helped to strengthen his ability to conduct both theoretical and empirical research in economics. He benefited a lot from being advised by Prof. Paul Dower. He will graduate this spring and is going to join the ACE department at the University of Illinois as a Ph.D. student to continue his studies on development economics.
