Since arriving in Madison from Malawi as a King-Morgridge Scholar, Lusayo Mwakatika BS x’21, a senior majoring in Agricultural Business Management, is certainly making the most of his Wisconsin Experience.
Winning the CA100 speech contest his freshman year, in 2019 he received a Wisconsin Without Borders award for his work as president of Project Malawi and its work with ACADES, a non-profit in Malawi that supports smallholder farmers. This year he expanded his role with ACADES and was instrumental in the creation of two virtual student internships with the organization.
