Bio Sketch
In addition to working towards a B.S. in Agricultural Business Management during her four years at UW-Madison, Natalie was deeply involved with the Hoofer Riding Club. Natalie spent most her life as an avid horsewoman and rose to a leadership position within the club her junior year. As the Community Outreach coordinator, she worked to raise money for the club through tack sales, and increase membership through events and socials. Natalie was elected president of the club her senior year and took on the task of rebuilding the club and its community after the challenges it faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. As president Natalie nearly doubled membership in a year, implemented new programing for beginner riders, worked to ease the debt burden on the club, and reinvigorated the club's energy and culture. Natalie hopes to combine her education with her passion for horses and community outreach for a meaningful career path.
Personal Reflection
UW Madison has offered me a rich college experience both in and out of the classroom. AAE provided me with a close-knit learning community and I appreciated the opportunity to form relationships with both the faculty and other students. I don't doubt that the skills and experience I've acquired will take me far in life. On Wisconsin!
