Bio Sketch
In addition to earning a B.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics, Josie earned a double major in Data Science and a certificate in Economic Analytics. During her sophomore year, she helped plan the National Women in Economics conference, serving as a media and marketing director on the planning team. She was a Business Strategy intern at Alliant Energy in the summer going into her senior year and then continued with Alliant throughout her senior year as an Economic Development intern. Additionally, she has served on the executive board for a social entrepreneurship club on campus, Enactus, where she served as the Vice President of Operations. With the club, she helped initiate a solar panel project and worked with the UW Department of Sustainability and Madison Department of Transportation to get funding for solar panels which will be installed soon to power lighting on bus stations around campus. She also has a passion for inclusion and has served on the AAE department's Justice Equity Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) board for her last two years at UW Madison. Post-graduation she will be moving to Chicago, where she will be combining her love of data science and economics while working for the KraftHeinz company.

Personal Reflection
UW Madison helped me uncover hidden passions and allowed me to explore amazing opportunities both in and outside of the classroom. The abundance of clubs and connections that I have been able to make are priceless. I'm sad to leave and proud to be a Badger.
