Bio Sketch
Mikala earned two degrees, a B.S. in Agricultural & Applied Economics and a B.S. in Neurobiology, and a certificate in Global Health. Throughout college, she volunteered with several organizations, including Second Harvest Food Bank, Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR), and More Smiles Nonprofit Dental Office, at the same time assisting as a team leader for Badger Volunteers. In addition to her volunteer experience, Mikala balanced work in research labs with work in academic labs as a peer lab volunteer. She hopes to integrate her love for healthcare with her interest in applied economics into her future career.
