Bio Sketch
On campus, Ethan was active academically, earning a B.S. in Agricultural Business Management and a B.S. in Political Science. Outside of academics, he helped the UW DII Club Baseball team reach the World Series during the 2018-2019 season. Building his career prospects, he interned his junior year with CHS working in their refined fuels group. He has accepted a job with Scoular as a Merchandising Trainee in their Business Management Development program. Over the long-term, he wants to utilize both his ag business degree and his political science degree to help structure policy that is beneficial to agricultural businesses as well as farmers and producers.

Personal Reflection
I am very grateful for all that I have experienced and learned from the AAE department. Not coming from an ag background I was a little unsure of how I would fit in with my classmates. From my professors to my classmates to my academic advisor I never felt anything but at home within the department and, if anything, my background allowed me to learn and grow even more than I expected. UW, and by extension the AAE department, can be anything a student wants it to be, and I am proud to have attended this university. Even through COVID, and all the hardships that it brought with it, I am excited about what the future has in store and how UW has prepared me for it.
