Bio Sketch
In addition to earning a B.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics, Chris earned certificates in both Public Policy and Environmental Studies. On campus, Chris was on the project development team of WiscWind, a UW student group organized to design and build a wind turbine, create a business plan for a wind-based start-up company, and develop a plan to site a potential windfarm within a 100-mile radius of campus; he also served as a board member of the UW Club Volleyball team. Career-wise, Chris benefitted from working as an Outside Plant (OSP) intern at TDS where he was introduced to the use and application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Chris plans to further his GIS knowledge and skills to effectively apply them towards helping the environment.
