During her time on campus she was heavily involved with the Association of Women in Agriculture and Badger Dairy Club where she held multiple event chair positions. She completed internships with UW Extension - Kewaunee County, Hall's Calf Ranch, and Brey Cycle Farm. Carmen plans to utilize her knowledge of both the business and science aspects of the dairy industry as she begins her career as a heifer manager at Brey Cycle Farm, in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
Personal Reflection
Being a Badger has been a dream come true for me. The experiences I have gained in Madison from the classroom, to extracurriculars and beyond have surpassed any expectations I came here with. Although my time on campus has come to an end, I will forever be grateful to UW-Madison for pushing me out of my comfort zone and challenging me to be the best possible version of myself. Forever ON, Wisconsin.
