Anne Reynolds, of the Department of Rural Sociology, will lead a discussion outlining a systematic approach by public or private institutions to research and facilitate the growth of the local vegetable and fruit sector in Wisconsin. Some of the key questions to be addressed are: What are the appropriate roles of various institutions? What are some potentially viable research approaches? What role can various disciplines play? What examples exist, in Wisconsin and elsewhere, from which we can learn?
