I am an agricultural economist interested in the industrial organization of the domestic and global food systems. My current research focuses on a new approach to estimating market power in food retailing, as well as examining trends in mergers in the food industry. As Director of the Food Systems Research Group, my outreach focuses on biotech seed markets, inputs, and potassium markets among other topics.
